Assessments or Evaluations are tools to help determine if you have a substance abuse and/or mental health issue. Recovery 4 Life employs licensed therapists to administer the following:
State GAIN Assessments – Court ordered clients are mandated by The State of Idaho to complete the GAIN (Global Appraisal of Individual Needs) assessment. Recovery 4 Life staff are certified in administrating the GAIN. The GAIN takes approximately 3.5 hours to complete.
Substance Abuse Assessment – For clients who are not court ordered to complete a GAIN, Recovery 4 Life has developed a Substance Abuse Assessment which is effective in capturing a clear picture of a client’s current and past history with substance abuse and is able to determine a level of care. A Substance Abuse Assessment takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
Mental Health Assessments – Mental Health Assessments take the form of a CDA (Comprehensive Diagnostic Assessment) and also captures a clear picture of a client’s present and past history including health, physical, family and childhood. Masters Level Clinician’s administer the CDA at Recovery 4 Life. A CDA takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
DUI Evaluations – DUI Evaluations are a specific court ordered evaluation which is different to a substance abuse assessment. A DUI Evaluation requires certain documents to be obtained by the client prior to the appointment. Recovery 4 Life has registered DUI Evaluators who can help you with this type of Evaluation. A DUI Evaluation takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
